The chart performance of K-pop songs, as documented in this aritlce, is based on sales trackers such as Nielsen SoundScan. This article takes into account several major popularity charts such as the Oricon Albums Chart of Japan and the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 of the United States. Charts that are only specific to K-pop, such as the Korea K-Pop Hot 100, are not included.
